About Green Zucchini
Zucchini Green is a long, slender vegetable similar to cucumber. It is slightly bitter-sweet in taste. It is used as an ingredient in curries, soup and several other dishes. It can be boiled with spices and other vegetables or eaten as a salad.

Storage & Uses
To store zucchini in the fridge, keep the squash whole, dry and unwashed. Store them in a plastic or paper bag with one end open to encourage air circulation, and pop them in the refrigerator crisper drawer. They'll keep there for 1 to 2 weeks, though you'll probably see the skin start to shrivel over time.

Shelf-Life
The shelf life of Zucchini is no more than 5 days. If it is placed in the refrigerator, it can last up to generally 7 days. Moreover, there are some other storing techniques that can be used to make your Zucchinis last longer for when you want to cook with them.

Storage Tips
Store zucchini unwashed in a perforated or loosely closed plastic bag for up to one week. Don't wash or cut up the zucchini until ready to use. To freeze zucchini for later use, wash and cut into 1-inch chunks before freezing in a zipper-topped freezer bag.

Storage Temperature
Zucchini squash has been stored at 5°C with acceptable market quality for up to two weeks. Storage at below 5°C for more than 3-4 days will generally result in chilling injury.
