About Dry Apricot
Dried apricot is fruit that has been dried, either naturally or through use of a machine, such as a dehydrator. Dried apricots are pitted that have had a large percentage of the moisture removed. They're usually treated with sulfur dioxide to preserve their color. Cut the apricot into half with a sharp knife.
